November 13-17 was International Education Week and two DCP employees won awards.
Congratulations to Michael Kung, Global Education Director, for being named the 2017 International Educator of the Year (Staff). The staff award recognizes the important contributions of University of Florida staff to the internalization priorities of the campus.
Also, Jocelyn Widmer, Assistant Scholar, URP, won first place in the 2017 UFIC Global Culture Photo Contest in the Faculty, Staff & Alumni category. You can see her winning photo here. An exhibit featuring this year’s winning photographs will be held at Grinter Gallery (Grinter Hall) from November 6, 2017 – January 2, 2018. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
