The DCP web team develops and maintains the main college websites, email messages, and online college-driven initiatives in support of the Dean, the Development Office, and the Communications Department.
Web Services is responsible for the design and maintenance of the following web presences:
- DCP.UFL.EDU, the home page for the College and associated school and department websites.
- Centers & Institutes websites
- My.DCP Intranet website
- My.DCP Faculty websites
Who can use our services?
We provide services to all DCP units, including:
- The College of Design, Construction, and Planning requires all departments and units within the college to use the DCP templates. These include the School Architecture, Rinker School of Construction Management, Department of Interior Design, Landscape architecture and Planning, Historic Preservation, Sustainability, to name a few.

How much does it cost?
DCP Web Services is a centrally funded which means most of our services and tools can be used free-of-charge* to DCP faculty and departments. If you have a Grant-funded project, we can assist with the development of a custom public web presence solution. Often, these type of projects requires a 4th level domain name (name.dcp.ufl.edu) and website hosting outside of our server space. When this is the case, the cost to the project is approximately $200 a year. When requesting this type of service, you must read and understand the current DCP web policy before moving forward. Getting Started

After we have an appreciation of the scope and purpose of your project we can then begin to discuss whether one of our existing solutions is a good fit or if custom development work will be required.

DCP websites use the content management system(CMS) called WordPress. It is the most widely used CMS in the world, powering more than 25% of the internet’s websites. Every website that DCP builds comes with training videos to help and as a UF employee, you are eligible to a free account at Lynda.com, just visit the website and login with your UF email.
